The Canadian Dogo Argentino Club hosts an annual Specialty, wherein dogs and handlers from across North America (and beyond) come to Canada to showcase their dogs and support the efforts of the CDAC in Canada. This event is an important fundraiser for us, and every year helps support our goal of providing education, awareness, support and breed rescue efforts across Canada. In order to realize this goal, we need the assistance of sponsors to offset some of our operating costs like banners, placards, marketing materials, etc.

Why should you sponsor this event?

Because you can make a difference. Dogo Argentinos are a rare hunting breed in Canada and are often misrepresented. Our club provides education materials, breeder and owner support, as well as creates opportunities for specialized training and exhibiting our beautiful breed. Additionally, the Club hopes to expand our rescue efforts nation-wide to ensure that our breed does not create an additional burden on rescues and shelters.

How do you become a sponsor?

There are several great ways to become a sponsor at our event – you could:

  • Sponsor the Best of Breed or Best of Opposite Sex award (Combined $250 value) via merchandise or cash donation
    • Logo and company information could be attached to the gift for the recipients and would be announced on social media, and at the event
  • Sponsor the class rosettes and ribbons for the show ($200)
    • Logo and company information could be attached to the back of the rosettes or ribbons and announced on social media.
  • Sponsor a table at the banquet ($250) so that proceeds from tickets could go directly to the cause.
    • Logo and company information would be left on the table you sponsor, and announced on social media and at the event.
  • Sponsor a raffle basket ($100 value) via providing the basket or cash donation
    • Logo and company information will be attached to the basket, and photos of the basket and announcements shared on social media and left on display for the duration of the event (Saturday)
  • Cash donations to help cover the cost of facility rentals, judges’ transportation and accommodation, etc. so that proceeds can go directly to the club.

Can I donate items for the Silent Auction?

Yes! Promote your company by donating an item for our silent auction. Prior years have seen some amazing gift donations. Any all gift donations are accepted. They do not have to be dog or hunting related. Gift cards, products, baskets we appreciate anything you want to offer. Email us at cdac@live.ca to arrange a drop off or pickup of your item.
